To provide an inversion device capable of reversing stacked sheets up side down, while they are being carried so as to let them be delivered in a state that both their side peripheries are made arrayed.
A sheet inversion frame 8 is provided for a moving path for stacked sheet So to be carried by a sheet carrying conveyor 2, and four housing parts 9 capable of housing the stacked sheets So are formed up over the sheet inversion frame 8 at angular intervals of 90° each. When the stacked sheets So carried over by the sheet carrying conveyor 2 are sent into the housing part 9 held sideways, the sheet inversion frame 8 is rotated by 90° so as to let the stacked sheets So be erected, and both its side peripheries and both the end peripheries of the laminated sheets So in an erected condition are made uniform by a side periphery arraying mechanism 13 and an end periphery arrangement mechanism. After that, the sheet inversion frame 8 is further rotated by 90°, and the stacked sheets So is then reversed up side down so as to be sent over to the sheet carrying conveyor 2 in order to be carried by the conveyor.
