Abstract:
To provide an inversion prevention device which can be easily attached between a top face of an article and a ceiling.SOLUTION: A damper 10 of an inversion prevention device 1 is attached between a top face of furniture F and a ceiling C, generates attenuation force and generates energization force in an extension direction. A second base part 30B has a contact face 37A contacting the ceiling C. A pin 45 couples a second base part 30B rotatably to the damper 10. A compression band 90 is configured so that, open hole parts 92D, 92E are engaged to the pin 45 and the damper 10 is held in a prescribed shrunk state. On outer peripheral faces of the open hole parts 92D, 92E, a pointer 92F which protrudes to a direction separated from a center shaft of the pin 45 in an engaged state to the pin 45, is provided. The second base part 30B has a scale 42C for indicating a state in which the contact face 37A is inclined by a prescribed angle to a horizontal direction or a state in which the contact face 37A is directed to a horizontal direction, by indication by the pointer 92F.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
