Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety by preventing a sudden change in movement of a carriage, which is not expected by an occupant.SOLUTION: An inverted carriage comprises: control means having a rotation inhibition mode in which inversion control for maintaining inversion of the carriage is exerted and also control for inhibiting rotation of the carriage is exerted; and rotational-force detecting means that detects force in a rotating direction, which is applied to the carriage. In the rotation inhibition mode, the control means exerts rotation cancellation control in which drive means is controlled so as to cancel the force in the rotating direction, detected by the rotational-force detecting means. In a case where, during the execution of the rotation cancellation control, it is determined that the force in the rotating direction, detected by the rotational-force detecting means, is equal to or greater than a first predetermined value, the control means uses notifying means to notify that force in the rotating direction is applied to the carriage. In a case where the force in the rotating direction, detected by the rotational-force detecting means, is equal to or greater than a second predetermined value larger than the first predetermined value, the inversion control is stopped.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
