Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent lowering of vacuum resulting from the head on passing through under obstacles like a river or something like that.
CONSTITUTION: A vacuum sewage pipe 2 at time upstream side laid down in the one side of a rivet 1 is connected to a vacuum sewage pipe 3 at the downstream side installed in the other side of the river with a sewage conducting pipe 4 passing through under the river 1 and an air pipe 5. The sewage in the vacuum pipe 2 at the upstream side is conducted into the vacuum sewage pipe 3 in the downstream side through the conducting pipe 4. The vacuum spread from a vacuum station to the vacuum sewage pipe 3 is spread to the vacuum sewage pipe 2 through the air pipe 5 without reduction of vacuum. Accordingly, the sewage collecting area by a vacuum sewage collecting system is widened.
