Abstract:

To maintain straight line stability, even if a motor is constituted by single winding for reducing cost.

An inverted two-wheeled vehicle is constituted of first and second motors 21, 22 of single winding for rotating two wheels. The inverted two-wheeled vehicle includes first and second systems of first and second control systems for supplying a drive current to each of the first and second motors 21, 22, and has sensors 27, 28 for detecting physical quantity changing according to the turning movement of the inverted two-wheeled vehicle and a dynamic brake unit capable of switching enable/disable of a dynamic brake to the first motor 21. The supply of the drive current to the first motor 21 is inhibited from when detecting abnormality of the first system of the first control system. When determined that the inverted two-wheeled vehicle is turned centering on the second motor side 22 based on the physical quantity detected by the sensors 27, 28, the dynamic brake is enabled and the drive current control of the first motor 21 is switched to the second system of the second control system.
