Abstract:
PURPOSE:To reduce the power loss of a starting resistor in an inverter circuit by inserting a switch element which conducts by detecting the terminal voltage of a smoothing condenser between the smoothing condenser and a control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the voltage of a smoothing condenser C3 rises to cause a switch element S to conduct, a control circuit A starts operating, an inverter Q also starts operating, and produces a high frequency voltage output, and power is supplied through a transformer T1 and a rectifier B. Since the starting resistor R1 having high resistance value can be used in this case, its power loss is small, with the result that it is not necessary to isolate the resistor R1 via the switch element as the conventional one and a complicated control circuit therefor can be accordingly eliminated.
