Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device that can achieve low loss and high breakdown voltage while suppressing an increase in cost.SOLUTION: An inverter device comprises: at least one of current detection means 7 for detecting a current flowing through a load or a DC bus and voltage detection means 6 for detecting a DC voltage of the DC bus; a switching circuit 2 including one or a plurality of arms in which first MOSFETs 21u, 21v, and 21w located at an upstream side and second MOSFETs 22u, 22v, and 22w located at a downstream side along an application direction of the DC voltage are connected in series; and a driving control unit for driving and controlling the switching circuit 2 based on at least one of the current and the DC voltage. One or more MOSFETs among the first MOSFETs 21u, 21v, and 21w and the second MOSFETs 22u, 22v, and 22w are made from a wide-bandgap semiconductor and the other MOSFETs have a Super Junction structure.
