Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter integrated type electric compressor for a vehicle capable of realizing excellent cooling of an inverter part, while suppressing complexity of a cooling structure of the inverter part, and improving vehicle mountability by a remarkable shortening of a shaft length as compared with a conventional one.
SOLUTION: Discrete transistors 6 of the inverter part 5 are individually fixed to an outer peripheral surface of a peripheral wall of a motor housing 4 cooled by low pressure coolant gas, and thereby the shaft length of the inverter integrated type electric compressor for the vehicle is remarkably shortened as compared with the conventional one without causing cooling insufficiency of the inverter part 5 to reduce the size of the whole of the device.
