PURPOSE: To prevent the posture of a steel sheet from being transformed and to invert safely the sheet by restricting the difference between the revolving angles of respective feeding arms within a prescribed range, in a title device for revolving separately plural feeding and receiving arms by hydraulic cylinders.

CONSTITUTION: Respective feeding and receiving arms 2W4, 8W10 are separately revolved around axes A, B by a prescribed angle with the aids of respective hydraulic cylinders 5W7, 11W13, to return a steel sheet 1 risen by the feeding arms to the receiving horizontal posture with the aids of receiving arms. At that time, angle detectors 14W16 detect respective revolving angles of the arms 2W4. Based on these signals, the desired feeding arms can be retreated by solenoid valves 26W28 used for short-circuiting the rod and cylinder sides of cylinders 5W 7. In this way, the difference between the revolving angles of arms 2W4 can be kept within an allowable value, to achieve the purpose.
