Abstract:
The object of this invention is to provide an iodine based polarization film and the manufacturing method thereof, which when two pieces of polarization plates are arranged in a liquid crystal display device such that those light transmission axes are perpendicular with each other, may prevent light leakage in the wavelength range of visible light long wavelengths and inhibit the color changes of the display images. The solution of this invention is the iodine based polarization film of this invention adsorbs and aligns the iodine to the polyvinyl alcohol film, characterized by including II-family elements.
