PURPOSE: To provide an ion exchange resin holding apparatus which is used as a silver recovering apparatus for recovering silver from washing water of a photographic processing device, is capable of rapidly and completely removing bubbles between the entrance side and the exit side and is constituted so as to prevent stagnation of the ion exchange resins.
CONSTITUTION: The ion exchange resin holding apparatus 18 for recovering silver from the washing water of the photographic processing is provided with porous resin restrainers at the entrance side 37 and he exit side 29, and between them, the ion exchange resins 38 are restrained within the holding apparatus. A liquid restrainer 32 for deflecting a part of influent toward a bottom surface part and for passing other part of the influent toward an opening at the exit side without deflection is installed near the entrance side.
