Title:
ION SELECTING FIELD-EFFECT SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5539042
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To make it possible to quantitatively analyze the concentration and activity of a preset cation within a short time, without changing the quality of a test solution containing many kinds of ions, by using a preset ion selecting electrode element.

CONSTITUTION: A field-effect sensor 43, which is prepared by fixing such a heterogeneous large cyclic compound to the surface of a semiconductor as will produce a stable complex compound with a cation such as K+, which is selectively sensitive to K+, and which is equipped with micro-electrodes and lead wires 431, is coverted with an insulating member 433. A supporting tube 421 has its upper end connected through an insulating tube 424 with an internal reference electrode 423 which is supported by a holding tube 422. The tube 421 has its lower portion formed with a conduit 425, and a comparison electrode filled up with a liquid 426 and a sensor 43 are inserted into a syringe 41. The conduit 425 and the sensor 43 are disposed at its leading end of a solid responsive film in the vicinity of the opening 412 of the tip and fixed by means of an adhesive.
