PURPOSE: To prevent discharge product from adhering to an electrostatic latent image receiver by a method wherein a facing intercepting means for excluding the direct facing of the ionic current outlet of an ionic current controlling recording head to the electrostatic latent image receiver when the device concerned is out of action.
CONSTITUTION: The electrostatic latent image formed on dielectric drum 1 is developed with a developer 4 by pressure fixative toner so as to form toner image on the surface of the dielectric drum 1. The formed toner image is introduced through the rotation of the dielectric drum 1 to a simultaneous pressure transferring and fixing part, at which a pressure roll 5 and the dielectric drum 1 come into contact under pressure with each other. At the simultaneous pressure transferring and fixing part, the formed toner image is simultaneously pressure-transferred and fixed onto the recording paper 6, which is fed from a paper feeding means in synchronization with the rotation of the dielectric drum 1, so as to be outputted outside the device concerned as printed picture. Further, after the finish of the simultaneous transferring and fixing process of the toner image, from the surface of the dielectric drum 1, residual toner and the like are cleaned with a cleaner 7 so as to conclude a process.
