Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an ionic current detector capable of precisely and accurately detecting a combustion state.
CONSTITUTION: An electric change eliminating means 40 is provided on a high voltage cord 10 for supplying voltage from an ionic current detection power supply 30 for supplying high voltage for ignition to an ignition plug 20 and also for generating ionic current to the ignition plug 20. Since the electric load charged on the ignition plug 20 and the high voltage cord 10 is eliminated by this electric load eliminating means 40 before ionic current is generated, ionic current voltage corresponding to the combustion state can be detected. Accordingly, the combustion state can be precisely and accurately detected on the basis of this detected result.
