Abstract:
To provide an IPM (Interior Permanent Magnet) motor excellent in magnetic characteristics.SOLUTION: An IPM motor includes: a rotor that has a rotor core in which multiple circular steel plates are laminated, a plurality of slots each of which penetrates the rotor core in the direction of the central axis, and multiple permanent magnets housed in the slots; and a stator placed at the outer peripheral side of the rotor. In the IPM motor, a plurality of metal plates made of soft magnetic material is placed so that at least one of the surfaces of the permanent magnets that form the magnetic pole are in contact with the inner surface of the slot.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
