Abstract:
To provide a method for producing an inactivated polio vaccine containing an inactivated Sabin strain polio virus, a protective antigen of Bordetella pertussis, a diphtheria toxoid and a lockjaw toxoid, comprising a process for producing a Sabin strain polio virus of high titer.
The method for producing a mixed vaccine comprising a process of culturing Vero cells to be inoculated with a Sabin strain polio virus in the presence of about 4g/L-about 6g/L of microcarrier is useful as a method for efficiently producing an inactivated polio vaccine containing an inactivated Sabin strain polio virus.
