Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iron and a clothing steamer which allow ironing and the use of steam in front-and-back and left-and-right directions, thereby making it possible to iron a wide surface and use steam thereon.SOLUTION: An iron 10 according to the present invention comprises: an ironing surface 2 disposed on an undersurface for smoothing out wrinkles from clothing or the like; and a heater which is disposed inside and is energized to heat the ironing surface 2. The ironing surface 2 has tip edges 2b and 2c which are each pointed in a bow-like form or each have a pointed shape at left and right end edges.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
