Abstract:

To provide an iron mat for training golf which provides durability and the excellent feel of hitting a ball like that of natural turf and allows the good swinging-through of a club at the time of hitting.

This iron mat for training golf consists of a pile part 1 formed by tufting piles 2 to a base fabric 5, an adhesive layer 6 adhered and fixed to the base part of the pile part 1 and a cushion layer 6 joined to the rear surface of the adhesive layer 6. The piles 2 consist of blended yarn formed by combining at least two kinds of bundled yarn 3, 4 varying in single yarn fineness and stretch restoration rate. The thickness of the adhesive part 6 is in a range of 3 to 10mm and the thickness of the cushion layer 8 of 5 to 50mm.
