Abstract:
To provide an iron powder low hydrogen type coated arc welding electrode for 590-690 MPa class high tensile steel which has good welding workability, in particular, can obtain appropriate strength and low temperature toughness of weld melt after PWHT.SOLUTION: An iron powder low hydrogen type coated arc welding electrode contains, by mass% to the total mass of a coating agent, 30-40% of metal carbonate, 5-15% of metal fluoride, 5-15% of SiO2 conversion value, 3-10% of TiO2 conversion value, 0.5-1.5% of ZrO2 conversion value, 0.1-0.3% of CaO conversion value, 0.5-2.0% of Al2O3 conversion value, 0.1-1.0% of MgO conversion value, 3-10% of the total of an Na conversion value and a K conversion value, 1.5-3.5% of Si, 2.5-4.5% of Mn, 1.0-2.0% of Ni, 0.3-1.5% of Mo, and 20-30% of iron powder, and is coated at a coating ratio of 25-40%.SELECTED DRAWING: None
