Title:
IRON
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001204997
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To suppress the generation of waterdrops that causes a stain for cloth by emitting mist from the ironing surface of an iron body.

Since a mist being generated from a mist emission nozzle 56 is guided to an opening 54 from a mist guide 52 and is emitted from the ironing surface of an iron body 1 to cloth, the iron can be handled with the same feeling as a steam iron for ease of use. Also, dew condensation water that comes into contact with and adheres to the inner-wall surface of the mist guide 52 is received by a water recovery reception part 71, thus preventing the dew condensation water from being unloaded from the opening 54 through the ironing surface of the iron body 1 and hence suppressing the generation of waterdrops that causes a stain on the cloth.
