To make a main body and the upper end part of a neck part almost flush with each other, in an ironing board with vertically movable neck part by equipping the main body equipped with a cut-off part at a prescribed position and the neck part to be fitted in the cut-off part.

A cut-off part 2 is formed on a part of this ironing board main body 1 and a neck part 3 in a shape for easy ironing of a collar and a cuff of clothes is formed to be fitted in the cut-off part 2. An elevating means 4 to bring up a neck part 3 to the upside of the main body 1 from the cut-off part 2 of the main body 1 when a collar and a cuff of clothes are to be ironed is provided. The elevating means 4 makes the main body 1 and the upper end part of the neck part 3 almost flush when the neck part is fit in the cut-off part 2 of the main body 1. Rods 5, 5 are formed for bringing up the neck part. Each one end 5b of arc shaped rod bodies 5a, 5a is rotatably attached to inside face on both sides of the cut-off part 2 and each the other end 5a on both sides of the neck part 3 respectively.
