Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a convenient ironing device which improves the effect of smoothing out clothes and facilitates to put clothes in shape.
CONSTITUTION: The number of rotations of a motor 18 is controlled with a placement detector 12 which detects placement and removal of an iron body 1 on and from a stand 9. While ironing, the number of rotations of the motor 18 is increased to keep a sufficient suction force, but while putting clothes in shape with the iron body 1 rested on the stand 9, with detection of the placement detector 12, the number of rotations of the motor 18 is decreased to diminish the suction force.
