Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply reduce the work quantity without removing lower plates and without removing a cooling air duct by making the portion of a cooling air nozzle located directly below a primary window frame independently removable from the cooling air duct.
SOLUTION: A primary window foil 5 is fitted to the opening section of a scanning pipe flange 2 at the lower end of a scanning pipe 1 by a primary window frame 3. A secondary window foil 15 is fixed to an opening section between lower plates 17, 18 by secondary window frames 13, 14. Cooling air is blown from a cooling air nozzle 9 to the window foil 5 to cool it. The window foil 5 is pressed by a central sash bar 27 and a window foil presser 28. The nozzle 9 at the tip section of a cooling air duct 8 is a member independent of the duct 8 and is made removable. The nozzle 9 is removably connected to the duct 8 at a junction 30. A duct flange is vertically formed at the end section of the duct 8. The nozzle 9 is the member independent of the duct 8, and a nozzle flange is formed at its base section. A narrow jet port is formed at the tip of the nozzle 9 to squeeze the cooling air.
