Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an isocyanate resin composition stably storable over a long period, having excellent scratch resistance, acid resistance, etc., and suitable for automobile-coating use, etc.
CONSTITUTION: The objective composition is produced by compounding (A) a vinyl copolymer containing ≥ 1mol of siloxy group based on 1,000g of solid component of the polymer A, having ≥2 siloxy groups expressed by formula (1 to R3 are 1-12C alkyl, etc.) and produced by the copolymerization of (A1) 10-80wt.% of a monomer containing siloxy group [e.g. trimethylsiloxyethyl (meth)acrylate] and (A2) 80-10wt.% of other copolymerizable monomer, (B) a polyisocyanate compound produced by reacting (B1) a diisocyanate compound (e.g. 4-20C alkylene diisocyanate) with (B2) a long-chain diol having carbon chain (e.g. 10-50C alkylenediol) and (C) a dissociation catalyst for siloxy group, a urethanization catalyst and/or a water-binder.
