Abstract:
PURPOSE:To improve heat efficiency by avoiding wet compression while cycling working fluid in an overheat area. CONSTITUTION:An isothermal compressor 3 composed of a regenerator 2, an adiabatic compressor 3a and an isobaric intermediate cooler 3b is provided, and a heat is exchanged between high pressure steam and low pressure steam. The low pressure steam after giving the heat to the high pressure steam by means of the regenerator 2 is compressed isothermally in an overheat area, so that an isothermal steam compression-isobaric heating regenerative heat cycle in the overheat area can be formed.
