Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a low toxic new compound excellent in safety, having such function as to reduce blood LDL-cholesterol level while raising blood HDL-cholesterol level, thus useful as e.g. an anti-arteriosclerotic, agent.
CONSTITUTION: This compound is a compound of formula I (R1 is a 1-5C alkyl; m and n are each 0-2), e.g. a compound of formula II. The compound of the formula I can be obtained by reaction of a compound of formula III with a compound of formula R1X (X is a halogen).
