Title:
JAPANESE LANTERN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2013012310
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a Japanese lantern which can maintain the installation condition even if being installed before the day of one of various Japanese festivals and even if there occurs lightening, and which causes hardly electric leakage and electric shock.

The Japanese lantern is provided with: a light bag 1 which is formed in a bellows shape using a resin mixed with a flame retardant and has translucency; an upper ring 2 which is located at the upper end of the light bag 1 and is formed in a prescribed diameter; a lower ring 3 which is located at the lower end of the light bag 1 and is formed in a prescribed diameter; power supply wires 5 which penetrate the upper ring 2 or the lower ring 3 and are introduced in a sealed state so that a raindrop does not enter the inside from the outside; and a light source 6 which is installed at the inner upper side of the upper ring 2 or inner lower side of the lower ring 3 and receives energy from the power supply wire 5. Since the power supply wires 5 are introduced by penetrating the upper ring 2 or lower ring 3 of the light bag 1 in a sealed state so that a raindrop does not enter into the light bag 1 from the outside, it is prevented that the raindrop is adhered to the electric circuit and, further, since the light bag 1 is formed by mixing the flame retardant, the light bag 1 is not damaged by heat.
