Abstract:
To provide a jaw crusher which is capable of highly accurately adjusting a gap width between an anchor tooth and a movable tooth, and which can be downsized.SOLUTION: A jaw crusher 2 comprises: an anchor tooth 8; a movable tooth 20 which oscillates against the anchor tooth 8 to crush a crushing object in between itself and the anchor tooth 8; a gap adjustor 22 having wedges 36 for adjusting a gap width D between the anchor tooth 8 and the movable tooth 20; and an actuator 24 for moving the gap adjustor 22 to modify the gap width D. Preferably, the actuator 24 has a pressing abutter 42 for energizing and moving the gap adjustor 22, and the pressing abutter 42 can be moved to a standby position away from the gap adjustor 22.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
