Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jet propulsion-type pIaning boat having a steering means capable of steering in cooperation with a conventional steering mechanism in a jet propulsion-type planing boat capable of keeping the steering of the boat even in reducing the water jet amount from a water jet pump. SOLUTION: In this jet propulsion-type planing boat jetting the water and planing on the water surface by its reaction force, plate materials 1 downwardly projectable from a lower end of a transom board T to be acted as resistors are mounted on both gunwales of the transom board T of the boat approximately along the transom board, and the downward projecting motion of the plate materials 1 are executed in cooperation with the steering operation for steering the boat through a cooperation means (connecting rod 5).
