Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide jet propulsion planing boat causing little clogging of a bypass passage by a foreign matter, and having a cooling passage capable of specifying a clogging place. SOLUTION: This jet propulsion type planing boat has a water jet pump P driven by a water-cooled engine, and is propelled by reaction by jetting water pressurized-accelerated by the water jet pump P, and is constituted so as to cool a cooling object part by supplying cooling water outside of the boat to the cooling object part inside of the boat from a cooling water supply pump P, and is constituted so as to cool auxiliary cooling parts 11 and 12 via the main cooling passage 1 for supplying the cooling water to main cooling parts Em and Ch from the cooling water supply pump P and the bypass passage 2 branched off by a branch part Br from the main cooling passage 1. A water passage diameter of the branch part Br communicating with this bypass passage 2 is set thinner than a diameter of the downstream side bypass passage 2.
