Title:
JIG FOR LASER WELDING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS6261794
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To minimize the positional deviation during welding by detecting and displaying the direction of the visible laser light subjected to multiple reflections between the contact surfaces of two parts to be welded by an image pickup device and welding these parts after adjusting the parallelism of the contact surfaces of both parts with high accuracy.

CONSTITUTION: The laser light 15 radiated from a laser light source 14 for measurement is reflected respectively by the contact surfaces of the part 1 and the part 3 and is made incident on the image pickup device 16. The part 1 is moved off from the optical path of the laser light 15. The difference in the direction between the direct incident ray 17 on the image pickup device 16 and the ray 18 subjected to multiple reflections between the parts 1 and 3 is generated when the reflection surface of the part 1 and the reflection surface of the part 3 are not parallel. The magnitude thereof is twice the angle between the reflection surfaces and the direction thereof corresponds to the direction of inclination of the respective reflection surfaces. The incident direction of the direct incident ray 17 and the multiple- reflected ray to the device 16 is, therefore, displayed and the deviation from the parallel between the reflection surfaces of the part 1 and the part 3 can be measured. Welding is executed after the parallelism of the contact surfaces of the parts 1 and 3 is adjusted with high accuracy by using the jig for laser welding in accordance with such value.
