Title:
JOB EXECUTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3543658
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize optimum job execution management while automating job class setting by generating and deleting job queue classes according to data on an actual job input state.
SOLUTION: The system is equipped with a job input means 3 which puts a job inputted to the system in a queue according to its scale and a job executing means 5 which takes the job out of the queue and executes it and sets the multiplicity of the job for each class to perform job execution management. In this case, this system is equipped with a data generating means which generates data for the job execution process, a judging means which judges whether or not a class needs to be generated according to the data of the data generating means, and a setting change means which newly set the class according to the judgement. The judging means pays attention to the execution time of a job having a long waiting time and increases the multiplicity of the class to which the job is assigned when the job execution time is adequate for the class or generates a new class when not.
