To provide fittings which can be inexpensively formed of float glass, and which can surely exert flame interruption performance, smoke insulating properties and heat shielding properties in case of fire.
The fittings include a glass plate 1, an outer periphery supporting frame 2 for supporting the glass plate 1, a setting block 3 which is provided in the engaging groove 2a of the outer periphery supporting frame 2, a back-up material 4 which is provided in the state of being infilled into the engaging groove 2a, and a sealing material 6 which is provided in the state of being infilled into the opening-side inside of the engaging groove 2a. A fire-resistive covering material 5, which is formed by integrally superposing a sodium silicate layer 5b on a surface protection film 5a, is provided in such a manner as to cover the glass plate 1 by fixing its end side by a sealing material 6 and bonding the sodium silicate layer 5b to glass surfaces 1b and 1c of the glass plate 1.
