Abstract:
To obtain a joining method of a conductor and a metal terminal which can maintain a stable joining state between the conductor and the metal terminal.SOLUTION: Firstly, a laser beam L is emitted to a tip part 14A of a conductor 14, and the tip part 14A of the conductor 14 is fused. By this constitution, a spherical joining margin 16 whose diameter is larger than a spot diameter φ2 of the laser beam L is formed at the tip part 14A of the conductor 14, and the joining margin 16 is arranged at the metal terminal 12. Then, the joining margin 16 is fused, and the conductor 14 is joined to the metal terminal 12. By this constitution, when arranging the joining margin 16 at the metal terminal 12, and joining the joining margin 16 to the metal terminal 12, a positional displacement of the tip part 14A of the conductor 14 does not occur. Also, by this constitution, the laser beam L is not directly emitted to the metal terminal 12, and it becomes possible to prevent a baseboard 18 from being damaged due to the penetration of the metal terminal 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
