To reduce a mounting space, to absorb thermal expansion and contraction, etc., by providing a lengthy body fixed on one rigid overhead electric line and furnished with rated capacity of the rigid overhead electric line and a socket fixed on the other rigid overhead electric line and to which the lengthy body is fitted free to slide.
A lengthy body 2 is fixed on one rigid overhead electric line 1A and a socket 3 is fixed on the other rigid overhead electric line 1B out of a pair of the rigid overheat electric lines 1A, 1B mated with each other. Thereafter, thermal expansion and contraction is absorbed by fitting the lengthy body 2 in the socket 3 and sliding the lengthy body 2 in the socket 3 in according with thermal expansion and contraction of both of the rigid overhead electric lines 1A, 1B. In the meantime, the socket 3 secures electric connection regardless of sliding of the lengthy body 2 by forming a fitting hole 11 of the lengthy body 2 and arranging a conductive elastic material 15 on the inside of an opposed surface. Additionally, a flexible conductive member 16 to connect the lengthy body 2 and the socket 3 to each other is arranged, and current- carrying capacity at the time of connection failure of the lengthy body 2 and the socket 3 to each other is compensated.
