Abstract:
PURPOSE: To equalize the arrangement of branch terminal parts including electric paths even on either one end and the other end sides by symmetrically extending the branch terminal parts of bus bars to one end and the other end sides and right and left symmetrically arranging also the bus bars themselves in a joint connector.
CONSTITUTION: A joint connector 11 has e.g. 12 poles in one side and 24 poles in all, end connections 12A and 12B for inserting mating connectors are provided on one end and the other end sides respectively, and 6 similar shape bus bars 13, embedded in the respective middle parts of a connector housing 12 having a partition wall 12C and the partition wall 12C respectively, are provided on the middle part. The bus bars 13 are positioned in two upper and lower stages to be provided at three respectively, and each two branch terminal parts 13a are provided symmetrically as shown by an arrow LR onto the bus bars 13 to utterly equalize the electric paths thereof. A given electric connection condition can be realized by the constitution as this and inserting mating connectors 17 and 18 into the respective end connections 12A and 12B of the connector 11. An unshown band-platelike fitting bracket is used when the connector is fixed to a vehicle side.
