To facilitate a continuity check and simplify an assembling operation of a terminal metal fitting by providing a joint terminal within a cover connected to a housing, and continuing it to the terminal metal fitting inserted to a terminal metal fitting housing chamber.

A joint terminal 50 is installed to a cover 40, and assembled in the orthogonal state to a housing 10. A female terminal metal fitting 30 having a wire 20 connected thereto is inserted into a terminal metal fitting insert chamber 11 through a terminal metal fitting insert hole 11a on the rear side of the housing 10. A continuity checking probe is opposed to a joint terminal insert hole 11b side, and pressed thereto to check the continuity. The cover 40 is rotated from the vertical state to the horizontal state, and slid backward. A male tub piece 51 of the joint terminal 50 protruded from the front surface reverse side of the cover 40 is pushed through the joint terminal insert hole 11b in each terminal metal fitting housing chamber 11, fitted and connected to the female terminal metal fitting 30 housed in the inner part, and continued thereto.
