Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint material for glass block assembling and a glass block structural body assembled with the joint material capable of enabling the reduction of a material cost, the improvement of execution, inundation prevention, lightweight, airtightness and the improvement of heat insulation.
SOLUTION: The whole joint material 2 comprises a joint body 2a integrally constituted in the form of a rectangular frame or the like by elastic material such as rubber, the inner peripheral face 2b of the joint body 2a make a shape elastically adhered on and fitted to the outer peripheral face 1a of one glass block 1, and the joint body 2a and the joint body 2a of the adjacent glass block 1 come into contact with a seal face 2d. Reinforcing aggregates 3, 4 are utilized to be constructed of circumferential frame materials 5-8.
