Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid the water leakage of the junction part of the joint member of an underground burial box such as a hand hole for wiring securely.
SOLUTION: A joint member 10 which has an annular sealing part 15 which is made of elastic sealant, preferably with moisture-swelling properties, and formed over the whole circumference of the outer surface of its one opening end 11 is inserted into a through-hole 1A formed in the wall of a hand hole 1. A junction part between the through-hole 1A and the outer surface of the joint member 10 is filled with adhesive S and fixed in the state that the annular sealing part 15 of the joint member 10 is covered with the adhesive S.
