Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem for JIS K6762 water supply polyethylene double-layer pipes which have the same nominal diameter and are categorized in type 1 double-layer pipes, type 2 double-layer pipes and type 3 double-layer pipes, that conventionally, a joint method performed by press-fitting an in-core into a pipe end of a resin pipe, inserting the in-core in the joint body and screwing a cap nut, a polyethylene double-layer pipe joint is manufactured so as to match the respective specifications, requiring much effort and time.SOLUTION: In the invention, an opening diameter of a cap side closing end 31 of a cap nut 3, a ring diameter of a ring 4 and a core diameter of an in-core 5 are matched to an outer diameter and the total thickness of each of three types of double-layer pipes, thereby a joint body 1 of three types of polyethylene double-layer pipe joints is commonly used as the same specification.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
