Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for preventing the leakage of a waste permeated water resulting from the cracking of a concrete filled in a joint pipe for a steel pipe sheet pile or the outflow of a polluted water during filling of ready- mixed concrete, and its execution method.
SOLUTION: A water shut-off plate 5 formed of an elastic body such as a rubber or a synthetic resin with its width larger than the inner diameter of a pipe 3 fixed to one steel pipe A and provided with plural strips of water shut-off protrusions 6 on one side face is inserted into the pipe 3 in such a manner that the water shut-off protrusions 6 are put in contact with the outside face of a CT steel 2 fixed to the other steel pipe B and both ends 5a of the water shut-off plate 5 in the cross direction are bent to the opposite side to the side where the protrusions 6 are provided, whereby both ends 5a are pressed against the inner periphery face of the pipe 3 with repulsive force on both bent ends 5a. A filler 8 such as a concrete is filled in a space of the pipe 3 on the opposite side to the face of the water shut-off plate 5 where the protrusions 6 are provided.
