To achieve the flexibility of a belt and the toughness of an outer periphery portion of a belt in contact with a roller as well as a stable press contact condition between the roller and the belt in running the sector round conveyor belt, in a plan view, with an elliptical belt material joined as its edges by holding a portion close to the outer periphery of the belt at its both surface and reverse sides between a pair of rollers.

The sector belt material having a canvas 2 with its surface covered with a cover resin layer 3 is joined at its edges with a bushing and linear joint portion 4 having lighting-shape edges 5, 5 and linear edges 6, 6 abutted to each other. At a linear abutted portion close to the outer periphery of the belt, where at least the roller is rolled in press contact, out of the joint portion 4, a reinforcing woven cloth member 7A is embedded in the cover resin layer 3 covering the surface of the belt canvas 2.
