Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection joint that has high water-tightness and air-tightness, and by which a chuck ring is not detached easily.SOLUTION: The joint comprises: a hollow cylindrical joint body having a large-diameter part and a step part on an inner periphery; a chuck ring fitted with the large-diameter part of the joint body and fastening a resin pipe; and a nut that is screwed with a male screw part on an outer periphery of the joint body, pressurizes the chuck ring and reduces a diameter of the chuck ring. The chuck ring is engaged with the joint body via a pair of engaging structure parts provided on the chuck ring and the joint body. Then, the engaging structure parts are constituted by combination of a recess groove that has a shape with narrow width at an inlet side end and wide width on a deep side, and an engaging protrusion that has a shape having a swollen head part that can elastically pass through a narrow inlet of the recess groove.
