Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject jointing loops in endless fabrics with no development of vacancies at the joints and no appearance on the surface, and to provide joints using the above loops.
SOLUTION: The jointing loops 11, 12 in industrial fabrics are such as to be formed by folding back warps on both ends of an industrial multilayer fabric arranged with wefts in layers and that these loops 11, 12 are mutually engaged to form common holes 14 which are then threaded with core wires 15 to effect jointing; wherein at least one of the wefts 1, 2 at least the upper layer of the ends is left and wefts under the remaining wefts are removed into a loop- forming part 3, where warps on one end are folded back and woven with the wefts 1 left above, the tip thereof is woven in an ordinary portion to form the jointing loops 11, 12, the warps on the other end are folded back and then woven in the ordinary portion without weaving with the wefts on the upper layer to form the jointing loops 11, 12, and the common holes 14 are formed under the wefts on the upper layer.
