Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint of an industrial fabric enabling its smoothness and air permeability to be made substantially the same as those of ordinary portions without developing any level difference. SOLUTION: This joint of an industrial fabric is such that both ends of the fabric with metallic warps are provided with loops for jointing use and the common holes formed by mutually combining the above loops are threaded with core wires so as to effect jointing; wherein it is characterized by that each of the above loops is formed through integratedly welding the tips of two adjacent warps in a portion made up of only warps formed by eliminating several wefts 8 on both ends of the fabric.
