Abstract:

PURPOSE: To certainly judge the μ of a road surface during antiskid brake control and more suitably perform antiskid brake control with a control pattern corresponding to the judged μ.

CONSTITUTION: When antiskid brake control is under pressure reduction at present, it is judged whether pressure reducing time is the first set value or more by step 3. When the pressure reducing time is the first set value or more, a high μ flag is cleared and a low μ flag is set in step 4. When the antiskid brake control is not under pressure reduction at present, it is judged whether pressure intensifying time is the second set value or more in step 6. When the pressure intensifying time is the second set value or more, the low μ flag is cleared and the high μ flag is set in step 5. Thus, it is judged whether a running road surface has the high μ flag or the low μ flag by the continuation of the pressure reduction or pressure intensification for a determined time or more, and the antiskid brake control is performed on the basis of the judged μ.
