Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a globular leaping toy made of rubber or the like comprising a cap provided with a weakened part at the inner edge of a base ring of the cap, so that the cap returns to its initial shape under a resilient action after being reversed, and leaps up in the air. CONSTITUTION: This toy is mainly composed of a globular cap 1 of a moulded rubber or the like, wherein the cap 1 is not really globular but is adapted to the shape of a globular part 2 connected with a vertical part 3, and the inner wall 4 of the cap has a perfect glogular shape. After being reversed, the cap 1 is either placed on the ground or thrown to be tumbled with the inner wall 4 directed upward. The cap 1 leaps up in the air like a rubber ball by its elasticity and returns to the initial shape. To make it easy for the cap to change from the reversed state to a dormant state, the inner edge 5 of the base ring 6 of the cap 1 is provided with a weakened part which is the inner edge 5 for holding the cap 1 under the tension of the reversed state.
