PURPOSE: To keep the strength of a jointed part and the bending rigidity thereof firm and increase the workability in a preventive pipe driven as a counter measure against the land sliding at hillside.

CONSTITUTION: In the junction of steel-pipe piles in which an upper steel pipe pile 1 and a lower steel pipe pile 2 are jointed with each other in turn and inserted through reinforcing inner sheath pipes 4 inserted in the respective insides of the upper and lower pipe ends, a seal-ring 3 is attached at the front end of the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 4 and the upper part of the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 4 is inserted in the inside of the front end of the upper steel pipe pile 1. Next, after the lower part projected from the front end of the upper steel pipe pile 1, which is the residual portion except the upper part of the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 4, has been inserted in the inside of the front end of the lower steel pipe pile 2, a solidifying material 8 is charged in the clearance between the lower steel pipe pile 2 and the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 4 from the injection hole 7 for the solidifier bored on the lower steel pipe pile 2 to connect the upper steel pipe pile 1 and the lower steel pipe pile 2. As the case may be, the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 4 is previously inserted in the lower steel pipe pile 2 and fixed therein and then the upper steel pipe pile 1 is inserted in the reinforcing inner sheath pipe 4.
