Title:
KANJI INPUT SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5840651
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To facilitate the confirmation and correction of KANJI (Chinese character) inputs by displaying external codes in a cursor-specified area and converting the external codes into KANJI patterns in other areas, and thus eliminating the need for TAB key operation and enabling conversion from the KANJI patterns to the external codes.

CONSTITUTION: When an external code is inputted on a keyboard 11, the movement of a cursor displayed at a display part 22 to the outside of the display area of the external code starts the conversion of the external code to a KANJI pattern by an information processor which specifies input KANJI by the external code input. When a KANJI pattern is displayed at the movement destination on moving the cursor, the KANJI pattern is converted into the external code, which is displayed. Thus, the conversion between the external code and KANJI is performed by the movement of the cursor without TAB key operation, facilitating the correction of KANJI inputs.
