Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a BGV which is suitable to many different musics employing few video data in a 'KARAOKE' singing equipment.
CONSTITUTION: A primary video reproducing equipment 2 and a secondary video reproducing equipment 3 are connected to a 'KARAOKE' system. The video data reproduced by these equipment are synthesized by a video mixer 34 and are displayed on a monitor 4. The equipment 2 stores a general video which is displayed throughout the playing time of a 'KARAOKE' music as primary video data. The equipment 3 stores special video data which are to be intermittently inserted to the primary video data as secondary video data. During a 'KARAOKE' music playing, the primary video data are reproduced and the secondary video data are synthesized with a prescribed timing (in accordance with a sequence). Thus, a BGV, which is appropriate to the music being played, is produced employing a small amount of video data and provides various kinds of scenes.
